Romney To Make Pitch To Black Voters At NAACP
" HOUSTON (AP/WAOK) – Mitt Romney will make a pitch to African-Americans at the NAACP’s annual convention in Houston today.

Romney’s major speech is an effort to swing black voters, as well as demonstrate that both his campaign and the Republican Party are inclusive.

Romney’s advisers say he plans to focus his remarks on the economy, as he usually does, and is also likely to mention his plan to increase school choice.

Republicans and Democrats say Romney is making a statement just by speaking to the nation’s oldest civil rights group.

President Obama will not address the group but instead decided to send Vice President Joe Biden.
