Republican David Perdue Projected To Win Senate Seat
" ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta) – David Perdue, the businessman-turned-politician is projected to win the Georgia Senate seat, beating Democrat Michelle Nunn.

Exit polls showed Nunn, the daughter of former Georgia Senator Sam Nunn, leading among women voters by 15 percent while Perdue enjoyed about the same edge among men.

Nunn won more than 9 in 10 African American voters, but got just 25 percent of the white vote in her loss to Perdue, according to exit polls.

Perdue easily passed the 50 percent margin needed to avoid a runoff.
