Early Voting Begins In Georgia
" ATLANTA (WAOK)-Advance voting began Monday in Georgia for the primary election scheduled for July 31. One crucial question on the ballot will involve the one percent Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax or T-splost.

Georgians will vote on whether to raise taxes to fund 18-billion dollars in transportation projects. There’s been heated debate between opponents and supporters over the tax.

Lawmakers in the General Assembly, members of the U.S. House of Representatives, state utility regulators, prosecutors and judges are also up for election.

You can log onto the Georgia Secretary of State’s website (sos.ga.gov) to check your voter registration status and to find out where you will vote if you choose to vote before election day. "
