Abrams: What We Seek Is Transparency From The Secretary Of State
" Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp announced last week that thousands of missing voter registration applications had been accounted for. He was quoted as saying that some 40,000 would-be voters were active and on the rolls. But State Representative Stacey Abrams, founder of the voter registration group New Georgia Project, says they have yet to be satisfied that the registrations have actually been processed. According to Abrams, “We have not been able to secure from him evidence that those voters are on the rolls.”

Abrams says NGP, which registered more than 85,000 people to vote in Georgia, has requested an updated voter file and “they still can not match more than 40,000 names”. She adds, “There may be an additional list of which we are not privy "
