" ATLANTA (AJC/ WAOK) If you’re looking to take your family to fun summertime events on the 4th of July, here are some local options:

July 4, Fireworks:

Centennial Olympic Park, gates open at 6p.m. and show starts at 9:30 p.m.

Lenox Square Mall 4th of July Celebration, 10:00 a.m.- 10:30 p.m.

Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain Park, show starts at 9:30 p.m.

4th of July at the Beach, Clayton County Beach, activities 10 a.m. – 8p.m. $10 admission, fireworks at 9:00 p.m.

Alpharetta City Pool at Wills Park, activities begin at 4:00 p.m.

Through August 5 Lasershow Spectacular at Stone Mountain. 9:30 p.m. nightly. Free with $10 vehicle entry.

Through August 23 Movies in Central Park. Sundown Thursdays. Free. Atlantic Station. "
