WAOK’s Mo Ivory Visits The White House
" WASHINGTON, DC (WAOK)-Mo Ivory spent Monday in Washington, DC hanging out with none other than First Lady Michelle Obama. Read how Mo described the day in her own words:

Mo Ivory: What a beautiful day in Washington, D.C. to visit the White House. I started my day attending a briefing on Women and the Environment, hosted by EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson and attended by Valerie Jarrett and other top female Obama Administration officials. We discussed women and the environmental movement and solutions for increasing the conversation about the environment in our respective communities.

After a brief stop at the Oval Office (so exciting!), the Roosevelt Room, the Situation Room and the Press Office (you know, where the podium is that the president always stands at), I headed to the South Lawn to join First Lady Michelle Obama and area children to watch the First Lady make the first planting of the season in her White House gardens.

Even Bo - the Obama family dog – came to join the party! It was just a wonderful event on a wonderful day! I’m so lucky
