McDonald’s Testing Out Deep-Fried Chicken Wings In Atlanta Chains

The wings, which are called Mighty Wings, were previously tested around the country in the 1990s and recently in Australia and Span.

“There are no plans to roll these out nationally,” Danya Proud, McDonald’s spokeswoman, told the Los Angeles Times. “This local market test reflects our desire to meet customer needs on a local level.”

McDonald’s recently unveiled “Favorites Under 400 Calories” category to highlight healthier items on the fast-food restaurant’s menu.

“We’ve been looking at new ways we can provide easy-to-find and easy-to-understand, simple nutrition information,” Neil Golden, McDonald’s USA chief marketing officer, told the Chicago Tribune. “We’re always looking to evolve.” "
