Best Sushi In Atlanta
It seems unlikely that sushi – raw fish – would become the national obsession that it has. Atlanta has some amazing sushi joints. Our list of the best sushi restaurants in Atlanta includes MF Sushi, Taka and Tomo.

MF Sushibar & MF Buckhead

3280 Peachtree Rd. Atlanta, GA 30305 404.841.1192

“MF” stands for owner Chris Kinjo’s “Magic Fingers,” which are at work crafting the incredibly fresh, world-class sushi at either of these two places. They are fancy joints, though, so dress appropriately. The talents of┬ábrothers Alex and Chris Kinjo, who own the spots, are on display: Chris is the executive chef, the upscale, hip decor is handled by Alex.

Taka Sushi

385 Pharr Rd NE Atlanta, GA 30305 404.869.2802

Step into this small, charming restaurant and indulge yourself in sushi superlatives. “Afishionados” will appreciate the high-quality, fresh fare. Take note of the specials written on the blackboard, which give Chef Taka Moriuchi’s creativity a chance to shine through. His attentive service may also impress.

Tomo

3256 Cobb Parkway Atlanta, GA 30339 770.690.0555

Chef Tomohiro Naito spent three years working with world-renowned sushi master NoBu Matsuhisa in Las Vegas before bringing his own, unique take on sushi to Atlanta. His aspirations are lofty: to be the best sushi chef in the world. His inspired choices will dazzle and delight (squid ink roll, gorgonzola sake sauce). The rest of the menu includes a range of Japanese options, often infused with an Italian or French touch. "
