Best Parks For Kids In Atlanta

Centennial Olympic Park

265 Park Ave West N.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30313-1591 404.222.7275

Centennial Olympic Park offers a wide variety of attractions for kids. Kids can run among the jets of water at the Fountain of Rings. There they can also take in the water show, where the jets are synchronized to music four times a day (12:30, 3:30, 6:30 and 9:00). If they’re not interested in splashing around (although what kid isn’t), take them to the nearby children’s playground where parents can chill out on the nearby benches while the kids enjoy the slide and other activities. Safety is a top concern at the park so you can expect a robust police presence to keep you and your family safe while you enjoy yourselves.

Piedmont Park

1071 Piedmont Ave NE Atlanta, GA 31132 404.875.7275

There’s a lot to recommend about Piedmont Park for adults, but there’s even more for kids. They can enjoy the playgrounds, wide open fields and feed the animals that live there (ducks, geese, turtles and more). They’ll doubtless enjoy watching the dogs at the dog run. Mostly we like it because it offers a premium outdoor space for the kids to enjoy – and we also like the amazing view of the Atlanta skyline. "
