Best Easter Events for the Family in Atlanta
" Easter in Atlanta offers up a ton of family-friendly events and happenings in 2012. So, grab the baskets, load up the kids and head out to one of these time-honored Easter traditions in and around Atlanta. Don’t forget to take the camera to capture those colorful memories.

Kennesaw Easter Egg Scramble at Adams Park 2753 Watts Drive Kennesaw, GA 30144 (770) 422-9714

Date: Saturday, March 31, 2012 Price: Free Hours: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This Kennesaw tradition features a scramble for more than 75,000 goody-filled eggs, colorful candy treats and a few rare eggs that can be redeemed for larger prizes. Children will be divided into ages on three softball fields: zero to three years, four to five years and six & up. A fourth field will be designated for children with special needs and those who require assistance. Bring a basket and your camera because the Easter Bunny will definitely make an appearance. This annual event also features children’s activities, food and drinks and sponsor exhibits. April 7th is the alternate date in case of rain or inclement weather.
