Registration For Mayor’s Career Fair Extended

November 14, 2011 12:00 AM " Atlanta (WAOK)-Mayor Kasim Reed has extended the deadline for people to register to attend the Hire One Career Fair at the Atlanta Civic Center on Tuesday,  November 15. You can now registered until TODAY at 5 pm.

The career fair is sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company and is a free community event; registration is mandatory.

Over 70 companies will be hiring for 1500 positions.

Companies that are currently participating in Hire One Atlanta will recruit candidates for open positions within their organizations.  Due to limited space, job seekers must register to attend.

Registered job seekers will have three time slots to choose from:  9a.m.-11a.m., 11a.m.-1p.m. and 2p.m.-4p.m. Registration deadline has been extended to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011, or when all space slots are filled.

Due to limited space, job seekers will not be able to enter the event early.  Please arrive during your designated time slot.  Job seekers who are unable to register will be allowed to submit resumes to participating Hire One Atlanta partners via a designated on-site checkpoint.  Entry into the career fair will be limited to registered participants only.  

Job seekers are encouraged to take Marta; however, parking is available on a first come, first serve basis at the Civic Center. "
