Man Blames Delta Airlines For His Blood Clot
" ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta) – An Atlanta man claims Delta Airlines is responsible for a blood clot he developed on a long flight and is suing the airline, reports WSMV-TV.

Jorge Pajares claims he was flying from Peru to Atlanta when the plane was diverted to Ecuador because of a sick passenger.

He argues flight attendants prevented him from standing up or walking in the aisle while the plane was on the ground, even though his legs were getting numb from sitting so long.

“She said ‘Sir, please, I already told you go back to your seat, I already told you to clear the aisle. You shouldn’t be stretching your legs,’” recalled Pajares.

By the time the plane landed at Hartsfield-Jackson, Pajeres developed a cough, according to the lawsuit.

“This one was unexpected cough,” Pajares told the station. “Came to me and it was just blood.”

He claims he was hospitalized for ten days after doctors found a blood clot that had developed during the long plane ride.

“The doctor told me two out of 10 survive "
