DeKalb County Job Fair Scheduled
" DECATUR (WAOK)– If you are looking for work here is another opportunity for you to get your resume out there.

DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis and the department of Workforce Development will host the DeKalb County Jobs Fair on Saturday, April 14, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Manuel Maloof Auditorium, 1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur, GA 30030. The event offers job seekers the opportunity to meet with representatives from various departments and companies, including ONE DeKalb Works contractors and private-sector employers. 

During the fair, job seekers can participate in self-help workshops, complete and submit applications, and receive valuable information on resources and services available to citizens looking for gainful employment.

Thanks to DeKalb County's jobs initiative, the "job bus" could soon be coming to a library, community center or school parking lot near you. Last November, DeKalb County announced One DeKalb Works, a program to create jobs and get people back to work.
